Written and Directed by Krishnadas Murali, Bharatanatyam might not offer a groundbreaking storyline, but its execution makes it a standout. The core plot is inspired from Rajasenan's Swapnalokathe Balabhaskaran and felt familiar. However, it's in the storytelling and direction where Bharatanatyam excels, especially with its well-timed comedy and engaging narration.
The film's comedy works beautifully, delivering plenty of rib-tickling moments that keep you entertained throughout. Although the climax may be predictable, its emotional impact is undeniable. When a director succeeds in bringing tears to your eyes, it's clear they've done their job well, and Murali certainly achieves this.
Saiju Kurup shines as the main protagonist, portraying the role of a family man with authenticity and depth. His emotional range fits perfectly within the film's tone. Saikumar also impresses, his character's turmoil conveyed through subtle, expressive performances. Abhiram Radhakrishnan is notable as the scheming friend, while Kalaranjini, Sreeja Ravi, Divya M. Nair, and Manikandan all contribute meaningfully to the narrative. The only letdown comes from the twin characters, whose performances felt somewhat lacking in emotional nuance, preventing them from fully connecting with the audience.
On the technical front, Samuel Ebi's music complements the film but could have been more impactful. Bablu Aju's cinematography, however, stands out, seamlessly blending with the fast-paced narration to enhance the viewing experience.
Overall, Bharatanatyam is an engaging and emotionally resonant film that never drags, providing a well-rounded cinematic experience. Krishnadas Murali's direction ensures that, despite a familiar storyline, the movie remains fresh and entertaining.

Started watching this movie with low expectations and went out well. I have enjoyed the movie whole throughout.
Vishesham movie revolves around a couple in 30s facing infertility issues and their struggles and hope. Comedy, Sentiments and Drama worked out well whole. Sooraj Tom's execution and narration to Anand Madhusoodanan's script was pretty good. The scriptwriter played the main lead and he was good in his acting but his shaking off head in every dialogue was little awkward. Chinnu who played the female lead portrayed her character very well. She was charismatic and played the emotional part very well.
Music was good and soothing. The camerawork was not so brilliant but was etched with the movie.
All the characters in the movie was good and they really played their part well. I loved most of the dialogues in the movie. Some of the scenes were hilarious. And also, i loved the part were the movie conveyed so many messages in the dialogues and also with their actions.
Baiju, Althaf Salim, Johny Antony, Vineeth Thattil and cameo by Dileesh Pothan played their roles well.
All in whole, a good light hearted comedy that worked in conveying a social message which is relevant at this stage of our livelihood.

One of the best gripping movie in the recent times which will make you think, think, think and even more.
Brilliantly mind bended by Bahul Ramesh and canvassed by Dinjith Ayyathan gives you the thrill in this slow paced mystery thriller. The story revolves around Army Officer and his family in the remote Wayanadu area.
Story, screenplay and dialogues were absolutely done by Bahul Ramesh and his cinematography made more impact to the whole movie. The narration was so gripping and etched with the audience. Dinjith did a wonderful job here.
Talking about the performances; Asif Ali and Vijayaraghavan deserves a standing ovation. Vijayaraghavan delivered his finest performance in his lifetime, no wonder he gets an award for his portrayal of Appu Pillai. Asif Ali is a real underrated gem in Malayalam Industry. His recent movies are the perfect example.
Aparna Balamurali, Jagadeesh, Ashokan was impressive. Nishan delivered a good one too.
Mujeeb Majeed is another backbone of the movie with his haunting and eerie background score which will make you glued to the movie's ambience and theme.
There were some continuity problems in between could have been avoided. In between, the story was predictable for me but the climax twist was too good.
All in whole One movie that not to be missed.
