What an awesome movie. It had a bit of everything in it, comedy, buddies, lots of fight scenes, and drama. The storyline can get a bit dark at times and I was thankful they weren't going too dark with it where it was hard to watch. I'm so happy to see Kim Woo-Bin coming out in lots of dramas lately. All the actors were fantastic in this. They bad guys were all so creepy, just what you need for a show like this.

Let's hope they make this one into a Kdrama series or at least have a 2nd movie. I could see them doing something similar to Taxi Driver with different bad guys and storylines throughout. Fingers crossed. 😄🤞🏻

I thoroughly enjoyed this Kdrama. What a great cast they had on this one. The main lead makes the greatest facial expressions throughout this series. It's not your typical intense thriller that keeps you on the edge of your seat, it's actually more comedy in my opinion which was a great combination. I love the relationships between the leads and their families. That always makes the series so much richer. I have to say the highlight of this entire drama was Heo Sung-tae. He was absolutely hysterical the entire time. I had no idea he was so comical. I'm so used to seeing him be the tough bad guy in Kdramas which I've always loved, but his comedic timing and acting was the best part of this show for me. Thumbs up!

I would definitely recommend watching this! All the princes who are brothers, some with other mother's since there were concubines back then make this whole drama. They are so fun to watch when they are together on screen. They really developed each prince nicely so you felt like you were attached to each of the characters. IU was perfect in her role as the love interest. Each of the princes have their own relationship and set of feelings for her which was one of my favorite parts. Of course there are the not so nice prince and 1 princess. The cinematography is so beautiful, the costumes are stunning and I've really come to love the Kdramas that are set way back in time. The first half of the series is lighter and unfolds all the storylines and the second half turns darker and almost gut-wrenching at times.

I would probably consider myself a Kdrama expert and of course Joon-gi Lee is a favorite. His acting in this is superb. I won't give away the ending, because unfortunately someone told me the ending before I watched it. Don't you hate that?! The only reason I didn't give it a 10 is because I am super picky about which shows I give that last star to. You will absolutely fall in love with this drama.
