I haven't read Tennessee Williams' play The Glass Menagerie , so far , so I can't comment on the film as an adaptation. I enjoyed this version , and I'm sure that I'll read the play . The plot was good enough to make me and all the people in the cinema satisfied .

All the cast were amazing and Saber Abar acted like a star again . His work has really progressed and is full of emotion . He shows that he could play such roles ; Sad , forlorn and sometimes irascible and sorehead , as we saw him in About Elly (2009) . Negar Javaherian had shown that she is able to deal with such roles ; What she played in Gold and Copper (2011) was also a masterwork as an M.S patient , and also her different work in Before the Burial ( Tanha do bar zendegi mikonim (2008) ) as Shahrzad a young , active and hopeful girl who made a different view of life for Siamak (Alireza Aghakhani). Parsa Pirouzfar and Fatemeh Motamed Aria were also well acted .

The music was also mesmerizing and I really love it , particularly the music at the end of the movie which unites folk and modern musics .

And about cinematography ; I liked it too . hand-held camera without being jerky could help the director and his cameraman for showing stress and suspension in some scenes .

Overall , this film was one of my favorites among the films I saw in the cinema this year . I'm sure that I'll buy and watch it when its DVD released .

Another story from Iranian master of suspension , Asghar Farhadi , is a gripping moral and social drama set in present-day Iran. The story is not only about men and women, children and parents, justice and religion in today's Iran, but that raises complex and globally relevant questions of responsibility, of the subjectivity and contingency of 'TELLING THE TRUTH', and of how thin the line can be between inflexibility and pride , especially of the male variety , and selfishness and tyranny. Believable performances from the strong cast and crisp photography, hand-held and intimate without ever being jerky, help to seal the package and also make the movie more acceptable. Though the film lasts over two hours,good and fast-moving editing keeps the action tensely involving from start to finish.

If you're looking for an amazing movie that's here:STAY It's a complex but complete movie.I think that the best example for Near Death Experience(NDE) is shown in this movie and it represents us the perspicacity of both director and writer. Every dialog and scene in STAY is important and not only you must listen and watch it but also you should memorize all the details such as background sounds,visages,sentences,names and so on!

Paying attention to what happens could help everyone enjoy the film.

I believe there are some similarities between Orson Welles's TOUCH OF EVIL and STAY in the ways of cinematography.

Ryan Gosling plays appreciable and is the best for his role.His glance makes him and the movie so mysterious.The character of Henry Letham can show us both innocence and guilty in his eyes.Guilty;that he thinks about his personality that made him to say and write "forgive me" again and again.And innocence;that Dr.Sam Foster could find in Henrie's conscience and wanna show to Henry.

The golden globe nominee director Marc Forster has shown that could make such laudable films in different genres like FINDING NEVERLAND,STRANGER THAN FICTION,MONSTER's BALL and KITE RUNNER. It was the first accompaniment between David Benioff and Marc Forster that repeated again in The Kite Runner. I say:what do you want of a complete movie;suspension,good directing,good playing,good music and.... STAY could gather them all. It's not my best 'cause it is always SHAWSHANK REDEMPTION as a respectable one but i've watched STAY about 13times,i think! and every time i've found something new.STAY keeps you in a suspension situation.
