after seeing the first 2 basket case movies i had no idea what they would do for a sequal for part 3.... MORE BELIALS!!! in this film belial and eve from part 2 are expecting children...and oviously the police aren't real happy about it once they decide to spy around and discover them. so..once again we have a murderus revenge spree....sound fermiliar? i liked this movie but my favorite part was probably the ending..it really shows what these movies are really about....freaks rights!!!

the sequal to basket case is really a freaks rights movie(though there aren't many of those). i found this and part 3 more entertaining than the original mainly cause its more comedic.i mean come on...how serious can you really take these movies anyway?? if you've seen the first movie you basically know what to expect from this one...more revenge from the brothers bradley...but this time they are joined by a house full of new friends to help them!!very fun movie and worth a look for any horror fan!

basket case is one of the cheepest horror movies i've ever seen! i was actually suprised though at how entertaining it was!!! its all about a pair of siamiees twins that were forcefully separated and are now on a revenge spree against those who did the dirty deed.this is one of those movies that makes you ask who is worse..the ones doing the killing or society for calling them freaks and separating them just cause they are different. good movie and one that any horror fan should see.

finally...a sequal that gets it right! wes craven did a wonderful job with this movie.blurring the lines between reality and the movies was a great idea and can be very easily written about.in this world today people seem to take too many things seriously. and when you do...sometimes bad things can come from it. Mr. craven was a genius the way he portrayed that thought out in this movie.very rich in social commentary,this is the smartest of all the elm street films.

this installment in the series is by far the funniest of them all! freddy is hilarious and is really nothing to be afraid of.also i liked how it shows how freddy got so messed up in the head in the first place. not the scariest in the series but one of the most entertaining.

the only reason this movie was made was because of having a surviving character from part 4. the story is ridiculous.the acting is the worst yet.the only redeeming factor to this movie is that it has decent fx in it.freddy is just a jester in this movie...even the classic nightmare music is almost circus like....

a nightmare on elm street 4.....ok...this is the top grossing film in the series but its one of the weekest as far as the story goes.one thing i did like about this movie was something the series has missed...a strong protagonist. the character of alice is my favorite of all the elm street girls.the final battle of the movie is one of my favorite battles of the series! not the worst of the series but still not that great.

one of the most popular installments in the series of nightmare films is this one.freddy starts to become funny but he still is evil enough to be somewhat scary.wes craven has writing credits on it so thats why its still dark and not all out funny. i saw this movie when i was very young and i was hooked on the nightmare films(and horror in general) ever since. fun movie!!

considered the best in the series,a nightmare on elm street is and always will be a favorite of mine. i'm a fan of wes craven's work and i really wish he would have at least written (if not directed) the rest of the films in the series.in the first installment,freddy is still dark and menicing instead of just being johnny carson.its funny to watch all of the nightmare films on progression from first to last,seeing him be somewhat scary to a scar faced benny hill. if they ever do make a freddy vs jason movie i hope they make freddy's persona the way mr.craven intended it.
