Spaceman (2024)
Surprisingly touching
I had no idea what to expect before watching this but I throughly enjoyed it. For me personally, this film hit all the right notes with me and I'm happy that I watched.
The simplicity of the characters and perception of life is beautiful but remains very real. Hanus is a wonderful character- his outlook, wisdom, voice and body really added something extra to the movie and overall theme.
I think this is a very well told story but the story is a simple one and something that all of us can probably relate to... but also potentially reflect on. Adam sandler is really good in this and I believed in his character. Heartwarming story. Good watch.
Wednesday (2022)
refreshing
I was looking for something to watch that wasn't entirely reflective of the real world (too many cancer story plots making me sad).
I was hooked on this show after the first episode. It's great. I really enjoyed being whisked away to this world . Jenna ortega (Wednesday) played the role flawlessly. Her acting and tone really set the scenes. The storyline is very interesting with a few twists and turns and keeps rolling with the the theme of "who is it".
I enjoy Tim burton films in general and this felt like a longer tim burton films split into a series. The lighting and "feel" in the scenes just make me happy. Weirdly nostalgic to Tim's other work.
Overall yes :)
Nope (2022)
It's a nope from me
I'm really struggling at how someone can find this film good. Multiple storylines do not make sense or have any relevance, no character development, not scary, not thrilling. Honestly, baffled at how rubbish and random this was.
The Stranger (2020)
The absolute worst
I'm actually extremely shocked that this has 7 rating. Pointless storyline. Everything happens is irrelevant and there's no point to any of it. So many unanswered questions with why the things happened, happened.
It's like the writers could literally just add anything they wanted because they thought of it. Honestly the worst show I've seen.
Trigger Point (2022)
Ten u
1st- not everyone has worked in a bomb disposal squad or police unit. Stop putting people off because it didn't mimic your working day.
2nd - For the same people calling it rubbish because the armed police and bomb disposal squad don't work in the exact way as the show- ITS A DRAMA NOT A DOCUMENTARY. They worked with ex personnel during filming but of course, they have to enhance the experience for the viewer.
The first episode is full of suspense, a build up of backstory and multiple "scares". The story seems like it will develop as there will be a theme or the same group involved.
