In the beginning, the acting is not that great, but as you go along, it gets a little better. The actress that plays Binta is beautiful, however, again, acting overall is not really good. The actors need more training overall. I think the actress that played Marina was not that good either. I do not like the fact that it was trying to make it out that she's more better looking than the Binta actress, because Marina actress was lighter skinned and of mixed breed, but I think Binta is way more beautiful than Marina actress. Marina actress was not really good, either, she was kinda "flat", like she was reading her lines off a cue card, and she's out of shape. Overall, I really do like the story line, and if it was better directed with better acting skills, it could go quite a ways. I would love to see season three, because season two left with too many unanswered questions like, who got shot when uncle took the money to the kidnappers spot, and does Marina hook up with Kalijah? And, where the hell is Binta? Hopefully, there will be a season 3 even with all the bad acting, if only to answer the cliffhanger questions.
