Although the overall production was actually pretty good, both myself and my co-watcher found the storyline full of mistakes, omissions and elements completely irrelevant to the overall result.
We spent a good hour after watching the movie explaining to each other how many holes we saw, and why, and they were all completely valid. After the talk we all agree that the director must really not have cared about tying this story together in a good way.
We were left with a feeling that we would rather forget that we spent money on this.
You might want to watch it just to end the series. But this was just not the way to end it.

Absolutely excited that Futurama started a new season, but I just got this weird feeling right from the start.
The voices of the characters weren't really right. Like they are too polished. Professor, Fry and a few others just sounded wrongish. I sat with a feeling that they might have been deep-faked, because they just kinda sounded like auto-tuned versions of the original voices (sorry to the cast if I am way off here.)
Now moving onto the actual content, it just didn't feel like home for that series. The topical/meme-like content gave me a dirty feeling that social media just threw up on me.
Almost afraid to watch the next episode.
Really hope it doesn't disappoint as much as this one did.
