So, if you're there for the Red Hulk and we can assume that a great many are, gosh knows he's in all the ads, the trailers, the stills. He's everywhere. He's as advertised as anyone else in this movie.
Heck, there's toys out there of him from this movie.
I'd say it's a dead even split in publicity between him and the new Captain.
And why not?
It puts butts in seats.
Including mine.
Well, let me just let anyone know. Those who haven't seen this movie yet, thst the Red Hulk is on screen about a total of ten minutes.
I'm not even exaggerating.
I timed it.
Ten minutes.
And he only appears after an hour and forty minutes has already played through.
So, literally right there towards the end.
Yep.
But the movie isn't horrible up until then, but it is very Power Rangers-ish.
The Cap looks ridiculous in his suit.
It's cgi'd to the hilt otherwise in all other parts and scenes.
Deadpool & Wolverine was great.
But the future for Marvel is bleak.
Time to find some other interests.
This isn't worth ten dollars or ten minutes.

First off, stay until after the credits, there is a long scene, it's more of a trailer for Osgood Perkins' next film, Keeper.
Speaking of this up and coming filmmaking force in horror, and in this case, dark comedy. I enjoyed this far more than Longlegs. Far more.
Longlegs had tons of style but The Monkey has far more substance.
And style.
It just doesn't know where to pull all its style from.
The film spans several decades but it's in the late 1990's at the beginning but the characters look like they're from the straight up 1970's.
It's still fun, though.
This whole movie is.
I laughed.
Out loud.
A lot.
Excellent sick humor.
Very much like the 1990's smaller films adapted from Stephen King's work: Needful Things, Graveyard Shift, Thinner, etc.
But also like, Maximum Overdrive from the 1980's.
It also reminds one of the Final Destination films and even the Saw movies.
But it's all good entertainment.
Don't be shocked by this Monkey.
It's worth a visit to the theater to watch it do it's business.

How many pounds of Paddington can you handle?
What's your tolerance for cuteness?
Well, considering this is installment Numero Tres, I imagine you've built up quite the tolerance and should be able to catch the currents of the Amazon just fine and not get seasick or sugar shock from all the sweetness and sticky marmalade lying around on screen.
This movie is probably more for kids and at their level than the previous two movies.
Peru is an excellent setting and I appreciated that relocation for this story.
But it does seem to take from other films, like Raiders of The Lost Ark and some of the more recent SpongeBob live action films.
I enjoyed this movie. I knew it wasn't Tarantino's latest, I adjusted my expectations accordingly.
It wraps up the presumed trilogy nicely.
Just go for the fun and the adventure.
What else do you really need?
