While there was some scary aspects towards the end of the film, i guess i didn't find myself really getting pulled into "the grabber" being scary. The scariest part is the realness and that possibility out there is someone just like him. I adored his little sister the most yet they never deeply talked about why she has those dreams. Maybe the only reason he could hear the phone is because of their mom and the same with her dreams. The story seemed to go quickly and slightly all over the place and at some points i was like "uhh" but overall it was a good movie. You can EASILY tell stephen kings son wrote this tho LOL.
Genuinely i really liked the movie. Im not an elvis fan at all but i thought austin butler was fantastic. Although he doesn't really look like a young elvis, his mannerisms were solid. I liked the transitions within the movie as well as how they incorporated the soundtrack into different scenes based on the song. I also liked how they showed his upbringing with aa spiritual music and how he used that into his songs. I also liked them showing the original artists that elvis got the songs from. Overall, a good movie about an interesting man.
Becoming the new batman after the success of christian bale and ben aflack is no grand feat but i feel that robert pattinson really performed the role well. This movie was unnerving to me which was fantastic as all of batmans villans are sadistic and are supposed to make you feel that way. Zöe was a good catwoman and i feel they had some good chemistry that did not make the scenes of them two together feel awkward. Im really excited to see the upcoming films further progressing through the comics and i feel this role could finally cleanse robert of his known twilight popularity.
