This is staggering. I've played some games, and of course watched hundreds (if not more) movies over two decades. But looking back on this, and seeing how this whole series of games completely re-imagined what could be? It safdens me that the VAST majority of people out there don't even know these games exist. And as I JUST threw them away in a purge, I feel really $)&)@&y about it now :(
That being said, finding the complete in-game cinematics from these games on YouTube is clearly very easy. I just spent 7 hours watching WC 3 and 4, and I don't even know what to say? Mark Hamill? Biff from Back to the Future? Malcom McDowell??? And I guarantee you'll see so many great actors, and more importantly, REAL performances.
You just cannot know how groundbreaking this series was unless you lived through it. But I guarantee you'll still enjoy the hell out of it if you spend some time watching these and taking yourself back 20+ years.
This is generational, and amazing.

Just (re)watched the cinematics on YouTube. I remember the epicness of playing this game on the hardware of the day back then. Just an amazing experience, as were the Tex Murphy games. Unless you were there, you could never understand how vast the improvements were, which started here. Live video acting? ACTUAL audio? This was so far beyond anything before it, it's not even funny.
I just threw out all of my old software in a "purge", but when I saw this CDROM, it just kind of ignited a fire in me to search these out on YouTube. I thank the individuals who made these so that we can revisit the best of times!

I keep watching just to see how much more unlikeable the characters become. How many god awful decisions they make. And how terrible the writing of these episodes deteriorate. I am never disappointed. Thankfully, the main show will be back on in a month-ish. Not that the stripped down version of the original is much better now.
I don't know how much longer this NCIS conglomerate will continue. It probably depends on the success (or more likely failure) of the Gibbs prequel series coming up. History suggests the end is near, based on series that have come and gone before. I'll always cherish the memories of watching the original (and JAG before that) with my family and friends. There is just no joy to be found in the scraps being served up now.
