Season 2 is even more entertaining than the first. Was able to get right into the action especially with contestants like Parvati from survivor. She immediately starts working her magic which is hilarious - some people just have a natural gripping charisma. Without giving more away, there are a lot of other good personas matched throughout episode one. Am excited to see how the competition progresses as it seems they've shaken some things up from the first season. They are definitely trying find a groove for the show that really locks in as a calling card, and I don't think the briefcases are necessarily a part of that. I almost feel like the briefcases are a topping to a bigger picture and if they can make it work it can really help elevate the show to something of a classic.
I have enjoyed every episode so far. Good balance of action and drama, with a little bit of history sprinkled in there. The wild west vibe is strong in this one so for anyone whos a buff of those kinds of western films youd probably fall right into the story and be able to binge the multi episode drop like really long movie. Am still working through the last episodes but cant wait to see where the story ends up and if it leaves room for a 2nd season and beyond. Think that the cast was well thought out and helps the viewer connect with some aspects of character personalities. Would definitely recommend!
I really liked the concept of this show, intertwining both interpersonal connections with that of the anonymous interactions that occur through the web/text. It really highlighted the difference of emotions that come out of people based on the platform in which they interact. Reminds me of driving a car, the human is more or less removed and all we see are cars, so it makes it easier to honk like a holes, flip birds, etc... but this isnt something people would do face to face with one another. Just a facet of human psychology that this show exploits quite well. I enjoyed the new age tech that they showed off - I think this show has something to build upon. Hope they make another.
