This is a bad movie; I have no idea how it's holding the current rating, apart from a solid soundtrack there isn't a single redeeming feature.
There couldn't have been less chemistry between the two leads and their frankly odd love story plot which is the entire backbone of the movie, and is unnecessarily drawn out. The plot is disjointed, slow, the Australian stereotypes lame, the script is predictable and the comedic scenes tired.
Bowfinger looks like a work of art next to this nonsense, I ended up walking out of the cinema about three quarters of the way through the movie, the only two times I've ever done that were Cats and..Bowfinger.

This is mostly about TP season 2. Its the kind of show popular with a generation that is only half-watching as they surf social media with the TV on in the background. It's a not a one star because they did make an effort and there are explosion's!
You'd find more depth in a saucer full of milk, WWE is more realistic and the plot holes are big enough that it would be fair to expect an event horizon...but apart from that it's okay...if you're half-watching.
It's not Vicky Mcclures fault, she does her best with a bumpy story line and woeful script, but some of her co-stars are so limited that you can only presume the auditions were held at the same time as a remake of 'Footballers Wives the Reunion' were hiring and the early rejects got to the trigger point casting couch just in time to get signed up.
To be fair even your favourite streamer has that bit for ads and 'like, comments, subscribes' so feel free to enjoy TP2 in those moments.

If you don't like swearing this isn't the movie for you. But, how this is not rated higher on IMdB I don't know because Glenngarry is quite simply a masterpiece of film making. You are literally transported into the lives of ordinary down trodden and down on their luck (mostly) salesman in a testosterone-fest of dysfunctional office life. The production work with such a low budget is beautiful, the acting is incredible, the script sublime and the plot so simple but so plugged-in to sales culture that it has you one minute laughing and next gripping the chair. Bravo!
