Deva is a decent watch on Netflix, the one you watch when you are in the middle of your dinner and you don't want to go back to the obvious choices.
Shahid Kapoor as Deva is amazing, he has given it all. Pavail Gulati as ACP Rohan D'Silva is decent and don't really get to show his acting chops. The rest of the support staff has done decent job and no particular actor standout or gives a remember worthy performance.
The songs are a hit and a miss, probably something you would fast forward. While the plot is definitely borrowed from Mumbai Police, the Malayalam movie, the climax has been changed a bit.

The movie is all about Salman Khan! His presence, his aura and there are scenes which will make you whistle.
The action set pieces are good enough but aren't engaging enough. It would have been amazing to see Raghav Juyal, Siddharth Anand and Jassie Gill to fight and have enough action set pieces. I was almost rooting for the brothers when they were fighting.
The emotional bond is just not felt with the characters but you will feel when Venkatesh is on screen, even the Cringy dialogues looks good. Pooja Hedge does her job perfectly and is confident in her role.
Songs are not memorable and choreography is just passable at best. If you are a fan of Salman Khan, it's a one time watch and if not you can miss it.

This is one of the most perfect procedural crime drama. As a lawyer I appreciate when a cop shows someone an Arrest warrant or knows that Narco and Lie detector test requires consent or court's order and is still not admissible in the court of law. If someone gets these small details right, I already think highly of the talents involved.
Rajkumaar Raao and Sayna Malhotra are in fine form in this movie. The overall thrill is always maintained, though you keep asking yourself if you know who the killer is and when it's finally revealed you feel like I knew it I knew it. And there lies it's biggest win and losing moment.
Despite the outcome of the first case, makers should really make the second case for the audience that has seen it later on OTT.
