In this one Stan's father has lost a lot of his employees because of the ICE raids. So he goes on Chat GPT for some new ideas. Oh, and we also see the President get gifts and there are more jokes about his...well, you know. Not as hilarious as the last two eps of "South Park" but I still get some good laughs out of this one. Oh, and Satan really isn't enjoying himself here, is he?
Vintage Video: A Chronological 80's Film Rewatch Podcast
Just listened to a podcast of this obscure movie on YouTube. It has two men and a woman discussing the plot of three women who are basically broke trying to steal some money off a big ball in a mall. They liked the cast but didn't think any characters were sympathetic enough and there were many plot holes. So they all gave it down ratings. While I can see their point, I remember liking it enough to give a 6 rating under my previous username tavm. So I at least enjoyed their conversation about this one...
Vintage Video: A Chronological 80's Film Rewatch Podcast
I just listened to the podcast of this "Get Smart"-based theatrical movie on YouTube. It was reviewed by three people, two males, one female. One of the males was a fan of the TV show and wasn't too crazy about this film thinking the famous catch phrases were used in a place where it seemed too contrived to be there. The other male liked it a little better but the woman, who had never seen the series beforehand, thought it was hilarious though not enough to really recommended it. They mention references to the Steve Carrell version a few decades later as well as the later TV movie which featured more of the original cast and when mentioning the other cast members of this movie, their other work. All in all, a very interesting look at this what I thought was a pretty funny movie though I was a young teen at the time when NBC showed this on TV in 1982 as "The Return of Maxwell Smart" and I should admit here that I only saw maybe the last hour of it. If I ever get to watch The Nude Bomb in its entirety, I'll review it here.
