The Confession (2022)
Everything here is so badly done
Lousy police/detective work, pitiful legal "expertise", pathetic jury (the policewoman did her best but didn't get the kind of support she deserved). So, if you're going to kill your wife, you make sure you do it in the UK as the entire process is pretty weak. But the documentary itself is weak and offers no follow-up beyond the trial. Was he ostracized by anyone after this? All it offers are a couple of headlines. Did he remarry? What about his kids? Other family members? Friends? Did he have any before or after the trial? Very disappointing. And, yes, he's creepy. His post-trial smirks give it all away.
American Tragedy (2019)
The elephant in the room....
While I appreciate the personal hell Sue Klebold had experienced, where was "Dad" in all this? Ignoring the role of the father, pretending that fathers have no bearing on the positive mental health of young men, will not get us to a place of enlightenment. Breathing exercises are not a substitute. If we're going to address this issue head on, then everything has to be included and this documentary is extremely insufficient in that regard. I believe Dylan's parents are divorced; what happened? Unfortunately, this documentary is painting an incomplete picture in that the male's influence is ignored.
Fresh Horses (1988)
Now, what was this supposed to be about?
I heard that this was supposed to be a more "adult" side of Molly Ringwald but it was a more cheesy version of Pretty in Pink. Cannot understand how talent like Viggo and Ben got involved in this mess but I guess everybody has to start somewhere. Skip this one, please....
No Time to Die (2021)
Horrible theme song
Movie was OK but I do think it's time to end the franchise. And one of the weakest theme songs ever! I think Billie was napping when she recorded it. Bring back Adele!
Wahl Street (2021)
Mark is weeping all the way to the bank....
I would love to hear the "success stories" of all the nay-sayers offering their low critiques here. Mark has not only proven that he does have a head for business but he has helped provide jobs and dreams for many others. No one could have predicted a pandemic but Mark and his business partners offer an example of what happens when you're able to rise above it. Any American business success story gets my attention and this series offers the highs and lows in an entertaining fashion.
