I just watched the last episode this week on YouTube (2024). I really enjoyed the series because it has new beautiful actors which I haven't caught in any other Turkish shows, and I watch allot. I love Turk culture and values. This series has amazing teen character chemistry, gorgeous actors of both sexes, even adults are eye catching.
Though the story line is kinda cruel, depicting "elite" vs "poor" kids being bullied mercilessly. I honestly didn't think such ways are still being practiced in other countries, to torment those who unable to defend themselves.
Series keeps you on edge, but I watched the whole show in one breath. I also enjoyed beautiful music almost in every episode.
I think there are a total of 60 episodes about 45 min long on YouTube but if you watch at their Turkish TV site ea/episode is 2 hrs long and a total of about 20 episodes give or take. I started the long version first but then switched to short YouTube cuz it'll remember where you last stopped & continue from there going forth.
I loved beautiful lead actress Ekim, dang that girl is gorgeous in every angle. I saw her still photos but she looks so much different in real life, very photogenic. The lead actor Canat, at first I thought he was older cuz he's taller with wider built, compared with his pears and he's not in any of the classes with the rest of the bunch. But he's also a very good looking fellow and their chemistry in the movie is palpable.
I loved the way how this series depicted peer pressure not only to poor kids (who btw prevailed) but of those in elite circle as well. It's like the girls all rely on their Queen-B while the guys have their own Play-Boy to look up to.
The parents also play a big role and the show showed family values vs spotless reputation. I LOVE particularly that aspect in all Turkish movies.
Great show, fresh and new. About cruelty, bulling, friendships, heartbreaks, betrayal, good vs evil, love... Highly recommend!
