THE VEIL was one of my most anticipated movies of this year and a big reason why was Rebekah Kennedy. She has quickly become a favorite of mine in this genre. The role she took on here she really put her ALL into it and you see that really early on. The film is like nothing I've ever seen before so its unique originality kept me immersed throughout and once I realized what was happening I was pretty blown away! Sean O' Bryan also gave a brilliant performance playing a retired priest. I highly recommend THE VEIL to anyone who loves horror science fiction with a great twist reveal. I look forward to Rebekah Kennedys future work!
Crust was a crazy, wild, original gem right from the brilliant mind of Sean Whalen! It was well executed on all levels, the performances were all top notch and the premise was like nothing I've seen before (and that was a good thing)! Sean is incredible as Paul/Vegas in the lead role and Rebekah Kennedy gives a stand out performance as Nila, his love interest! I'm really glad this film was released in a theatre near me and I was able to see it on a big screen, it was an experience that will stick with me for a while! Go see Crust in the theatre or make sure to check it out when it's available to stream, you won't regret it!
I rented this movie last night and thought it was a VERY good. Psychological, drama and horror blended quite nicely! Very original and intriguing storyline with a very cool job of coming all together in the end. I thought William Mark McCullough (Dan Olsen) did a fantastic job playing the hot tempered, hard on his son, father! Rebekah Kennedy(Millie) has QUICKLY become a favorite of mine! If you haven't seen THE UNSEEN or TWO WITCHES(also with Rebekah who plays Masha, one of my favorite horror characters in recent times) you NEED to give them a view, I highly recommend both movies and they DO NOT disappoint!
