I'm not a fan of remakes, so I wasn't expecting to actually like this movie, but I couldn't have asked for more! The movie was amazing. Ariel's singing was spectacular. Just like the original. However, I wasn't a fan of Eric's song. I've seen a lot of comments about the movie dragging out. Not true! It was action packed from start to finish. Sebastian was my favorite. He kept the movie lively & funny. I was disappointed with Flounders role. I wish we could've seen more of him.

My daughter said she liked the remake better than the original! Overall, great movie! I would definitely recommend. My husband even watched it!

Great concept, however the editing was poorly done with noticeable mistakes! Different cars being shown, such as Vivica picking up her daughter from school. They got in one car but came home in another. The cruise ship was different every time it was shown & they drove down the same road nearly every scene! The characters wardrobes could've been a lot better. They were wearing jeans in Mexico when everyone else had on shorts & sundresses. I expected better from Lifetime, but I'm truly not surprised by the lack of effort from Lifetime. They seem to rush movies to just to make quick money.

The movie was good, but very predictable! Vivica A Fox never disappoints! I was also happy to watch a movie there the teenager wasn't bratty.
