I enjoyed this film and liked the gamer aspect it provided, the change between animation styles representing the different game levels was a very fun and unique way to show the differences between levels. The character designs were very cute and the game virus villain while was slightly less threatening as other villains tend to be in these movies but didn't enjoy it as much as the others. Still loved it though and still re watch it if its an option. Not the worst film in the series, people over hate it because it isn't some out of date fairy tale with a poorly animated love interest (Fairytopia being an exception with their being no damsel trope.)

Taking in I am not the target audience i still enjoyed this film, not as much as touch of magic, mermaid power or princess adventure I must say. Similar to the lost birthday and babysitting adventure it follows one of Barbies friends or sister. I liked the film but didnt enjoy it as much as some of the other films.

Stacie gets invited to a hot air balloon in Wisconsin by her aunty. It explores the tween age between being a younger child and a teenager. It is a cute turn off your brain film, admitting its not as good as the other films in this nice era Barbie is taking with their media but it was still enjoyable enough.

Other than epic winter i really enjoyed this film, exploring the relationship between Raven and the Evil Queen and the rivalry between her and Snow White. I really liked that Darling Charming was Apples true love carrying on the tradition of girls taking the lead, and for a 2016 kids film to have a queer kiss made me feel seen as a younger viewer.

Storyline wise it picks up from the season prior and sees a new aspect to the evil queen. I loved the dragons. It was cool seeing the dragons, Apple becoming manipulated and not knowing who to trust giving us a side of her that was more hollow inventively wanting her destiny so bad she nearly lost her life!!
