Ok, so if you're going to do a film about Denmark how about doing some research first? This film has so many errors it's not even funny. The accents are laughable, the buildings look Irish (I know it was filmed in Ireland) & the scenery looks nothing like Denmark at ALL. They have a scene where the father & his son are walking on a beach and in the background plenty of rocks can be seen. Now the only place in Denmark that has rocks is Bornholm, an island that takes 13 hours to sail to from Copenhagen. Avoid this like the plague.
We're being forced to watch it in school. The acting, music AND storyline are just AWFUL. When you watch it you'd think it was from the early 80's, not 1995!...And the fact that it's so long is just shooting itself in the foot.
I had the pleasure of seeing Cinémagique in Disney Studios Paris. It's a play, it's a film, it's all you could ever dream of. As the show kicks off you see various clips from black & white silent films & during the show the movies evolve. Martin Short (who plays George) then gets up on the stage & is captured into the film by a wizard. One of the best scenes is probably Titanic where George tries to save Leonardo Di Caprio but can't find the right door. Each door he opens has a clip of a character from various films (Hanibal, Monsters Inc. etc.). If you ever go to Disney Studios, this is a must see
