FLOURTOWN is a work of art, its different forms of effects, animation, its utterly unique vision telling a fable that reaches you on a deep emotional level. The center of the story is a tragedy about a mining center and the lack of concern on the part of those who own it.
It is the kind of film that is so rich in sound and image that you can watch it again and again. I personally do collage art and the magnificent layering of images in that style just made my mouth hang open. I have been a huge fan of all types of animation for many decades and without reservation, this is one of the most amazing, if not the most amazing, works in that field I have ever seen.
