We give it a 9 because a 10 is nearly impossible. That said, it's our favorite 'chefs' show. No artificial drama, just 3 amazing cooks competing in somewhat exotic locales and making traditional dishes with their own spin. A great learning experience with really interesting food. Always fun to watch them foraging for the menu. Always interesting to hear about the local judges. Always cool to hear the cooks talk about 'weird' foods and see their trepidation with eating some things. And, lastly, Shini Somaranthe is beautiful and amazing in her own right. Google her. Her biography is a great read. It's the most respectful and thoughtful cooking show we've ever really seen.
