Initially I felt interested in the story, it starts quite epic, a bit cheesy and clunky, but I got over it still interested. As the film evolves, you realise that the whole first scene explaining the origin of the character in it is completely unnecessary and it feels cheap.
The voice in off (and then on screen) of Alberto Laiseca, who introduces himself as the writer of the tale, felt really annoying for me, he does some weird sounds and makes some pretentious or annoyingly derogatory and insulting comments on the characters and the story, which I found really cringe and made me really struggle to get through the movie.
There are some interesting aspects of the story which kept me watching to see how would they play, but ultimately, very little of it was well executed, and by the las 20 minutes (the movie is only 80 minutes) I was feeling really disappointed.
The performances are not great, specially the writer's parts (I don't know if he was playing a character or just being himself, as he's credited) but I thin it's more about the dialogs (the writing) and the direction that makes this feel so amateur.
The cinematography is less than average, with shaky shots where there shouldn't be, bad framing, and some really amateur feeling throughout.
I only give some points to the film towards some interesting ideas and some moments of the film, but overall it's not a great film.

The look and setting of the story got me interested.
The acting is good, probably the strongest aspect of the film.
The cinematography and production are good too, the atmosphere is well achieved, some sort of almost apocalyptic reality.. But the story can't be saved with any of the above mentioned (which isn't much in favour, to be honest).
The premise is absolute nonsense. It just doesn't make sense at all, and even if it seems that the characters (as they're reluctant to accept what's going on) will find some secret agenda or something else going on behind the agent's demands, they don't!
The story just follows this stupid premise through, to justify the drama of a dying relationship. That's actually the center theme of the film, all the sci-fi nonsense is actually an excuse poorly executed.
By the end (the last half hour, at least) I was so annoyed on how stupid everything was, how much nonsense, how erratic were the characters throughout (don't get me wrong, I understood who was who and what, they still don't make sense) how poor is the concept of the story, that I felt frustrated for having waited to the end and go through it.
It's a boring mess and a massive disappointment.

I found the setting and premise of this movie very interesting, and the subtle use of CGI gave everything a touch of class and realism.
The start is really good, the story develops in a mysterious way, not spoon feeding the viewer, and slowly revealing what's going on in this alternative world where people starts mutating into animals.. or more like a mis between human and animal..
The performances are good, and the technical aspects serve well, without being anything exceptional.
I'm not a fan of the original (is it original? Seems like..) but that's just personal taste, I'm sure some people will find it beautiful, but for me, it was out of place or giving the wrong mood in several parts of the film.
What disappointed me was the story as it evolves. It just didn't get too deep, there wasn't enough detail to feel it's a solid story. Several characters lack of depth, and so the story as a whole.
It's a shame, I thought I'd really like this movie, but it fell flat and left me with that sense of dissatisfaction.
Still, it's an interesting watch, it's in general, a good film, that could have been something really special.
Wasted potential.
