The head of a private education company Noh Go-jin (Kim Jae-wook) is revered in the industry but is a horrible person who bully's his staff. Most personal assistants only last a few months because of his personality but Lee Shin-ah (Krystal Jung) has put up with his unreasonable behaviour for over a year when she receives life changing news which encourages her to take drastic action. The situation then escalates where she is under suspicion for attempted murder but she lies about her relationship with her boss and because he has amnesia claims to be his fiancé. The premise is interesting and parts of the story are entertaining with good acting from the entire cast. My main issue with the drama is most of the characters are not nice people and no matter how they try to justify their behaviour with their pasts it is not acceptable to behave in the manner they do whatever they claim is the reason. It would have been better if they had just softened a lot of the characters back story to make them more likeable and invested in the outcome of their lives.
A mythical fantasy drama taking place at the beginning of the Bronze Age. This is a world inhabited by two human species, one ordinary and one with super human strength called Neanthals and also mixed blood called Iguti. Song Joong-Ki plays two parts Eun-seom and also Sara who is his twin brother separated when young, but now are sworn enemies leading different tribes. The king of Arthdal Ta Gun is a ruthless despot and his wifeTae Al-ha is equally evil and is probably my favourite character in the entire show played superbly by Kim Ok-vin. The other main character is Taealha who is a childhood friend of the brothers and the leader of a religious sect. It is a complicated plot and time is spent on developing the vast backdrop of characters, because of this I think lacks any real character development so even though I enjoyed the story and admired the acting I had no empathy for the characters.
A recently qualified lawyer expects to take a position in her grandfather's large company but is surprised when he suggests she becomes a trainee with a strange indipendenr lawyers office. The lawyer in in charge there was once a prosecutor and has an odd way of approaching cases and only charges a dollar for each client, hence the title. Initially they do not gel but over time she learns the sad reason for his quirkiness and they begin to respect each other. It is a well acted series particulay the leads who are both appealing characters. The story is interesting but lacks development of the villains and because of this the story seems to fall short.
