DO NOT WASTE YOUR TIME

I began watching the movie after reading the description expecting a mystery thriller. As a Chinese American I was excited for a movie about a modern Chinese family. Admittedly the cinematography and score created a thrilling vibe throughout the movie. The acting was equally enticing, creating the illusion for a great finale. It could be the fact that a more thrilling movie would not have passed the Chinese film censor bureau but this movie will leave you unsatisfied to the point where you create an IMDb account just to warn others so that they will not suffer the same fate. The director leads you on the entire movie thinking there will be a climax but you never get to bust!
