I live in Charleston so I love movies with historical significance. Fatima portrayed Emma in a very demure, kind, sweet way. I really enjoyed her most in the whole film. I'm not a fan of the Family Matters actor and have not seen him on tv in a while but he did pretty well. He portrayed O. W. Gurley respectfully and with heart. I think the script could have had more substance. I assume Fatima is a newer actress but I think she could use something with a little more meat to it and more scenes. I know this movie was not meant to center around the wife but I found myself enjoying her delivery the most. She is the reason for the stars. I don't know if i would have finished the movie if she did not play the role.
