  • Mr. Foskolos please enter the 21st Century.

The episodes we are currently watching here in the states on this show indicates to me that the producer and the writers of the show do not like women that have dreams and want careers. They portray all the females as weak and they are only to be married and stay home and feed their husbands and raise their children. Also, why does the producer of this show not like singers and bouzouki players. My husband plays the bouzouki and that's how we raised our children and made our living. Yes Mr. Foskolos, an honest living with singers and nightclubs. I've seen most of his movies from the 60's and 70's as well and Foskolos always portrays people in this line of work as low class. The current episode on KALIMERA ZOE right now deals with a young married woman who has a dream to become and singer and her drunk cop husband can't handle it. She's the bad one however according to the writers. According to the writers the young lady is married and it is inappropriate for her to be seeking work as a singer in a nightclub because it will lower her status in society and will ruin her marriage. If you watch this show it make you ill just seeing all these thick headed people blaming this young lady for ending her marriage and her husband as well cannot stand next to her and support her in her dreams. He says he loves her but I don't believe him. Love is unconditional.

  • Amazing Episode today. I want more.

September 1, 2006. Finally the story lines are fantastic. Today I could not leave work fast enough to see the episode and what I saw left me speechless. The main character has become so cruel that even though I know it's just a TV show I am hoping that someone go after him for revenge. Today's episode was extremely tragic. I am sorry this show is going off the air soon because it finally has some very very exciting story lines. John Drako is probably one of the most cruelest of characters and he gets away with everything because he is extremely wealthy. Well he's taken on God. Wow! I hope his demise is slow and just as tragic because the sorrow he caused on today's episode cannot go unpunished. Bravo to the writers for the excellent story lines and bravo to the case for their excellent interpretations of the different characters.

  • Love it

I wish I could see this again. I actually memorized a song from this movie after seeing it only one time. A wonderful musical again offering the best actors of Greece in that era. A fun musical with lots of different story lines, one being of a young man who visits a little island where one of the girls falls for him but to him she is just a little too hickish. Well watch out because she turns out to be just what he was looking for. It's been a long time since I've seen this movie and I would love for it to be re-released again. I believe it's in color and is just a lot of fun. The director of this movie from what I can tell on his list has directed some of the best and most well know motion pictures and I've literally seen all of them and they are wonderful.
