When I saw this movie standing in the shop. I thought it would be great. I absolutely love vampire stories! At the start of the movie, I was full expectations. I love the intro, and the beginning was quit fine. Later on in the story, they start to mix present and past through each other, but there isn't any link. You don't get why they keep changing from time zone. The storyline is too complicated for a simple horror movie. If you read the back of the box, it reads a simple story, but in the end, the story on the box doesn't tell the story the movie really has. You don't see any connection between the things from the past they show you and the things that happen in the present story. For me this film was total rubbish!!! The actors on this movie were very bad, and non convincing. So they couldn't hold this terrible story up by their performance! The shot's that are taken are mostly too dark, and framed incorrectly. Also the director tense to switch shot's very often, sometimes a shot is only 1 second, so you can't really focus on what he wants to show you. He does this often, and at times I think it's important that you have to have a bit of time to take everything in. His character's were very unconvincing. When I watch vampire or other fantasy stories I like to have the idea that what I just saw, really could have happened, that vampires really live amongst us. The director didn't succeed in this.
To sum up: It was a total waste of money.

I absolutely love Buffy the vampire slayer!!! I've been watching the show since it first aired in 1997. And I still enjoy every bit of it. I always used to love fantasy stories about vampires, witches, ... Buffy took my adoration for these things to a higher level. I think Joss Whedon is an absolute genius, and Buffy is no doubt his masterpiece. I still can't believe they don't make new episodes anymore. But I love the comics who still go on after season 7. Buffy has a lot of nice inputs, crazy developments who are sudden and fresh. Faith, Dawn, Spike, Angel, ... each and every one of them brings a new light to the show. The actor's are great. I love Sarah Michelle Gellar, James Marsters, Anthony Steward Head, David Boreanaz and Eliza Dushku the most. I try and collect every other thing they did (with lots of thanks to IMDb for making it so easy to find everything they made so easily).
I think with Buffy it's pretty much a thing that you love or you hate. There's no way between it.
I love it. From this day on I still believe everything in it is real. That there are vampires, demons, ... and that there is a slayer ... one girl chosen to hunt the vampire, stop the spread of there evil ...
Buffy lives forever in my heart.
