Jan Hasenfuss was born in Hamburg, Germany. He studied acting at HFF Film Academy in Potsdam Babelsberg. He was playing at the State Theatre in Cottbus, the Theatre of St.Gallen an the Theatre Potsdam. In 2014 he was playing one of the lead roles on the comedy series WHAT IF. From 2016 till 2019 he was in the maincast of 3 seasons of the comedy series KNALLERKERLE, which was nominated for the German Comedy Award. In the international mini series THE AGE OF IRON (2019) Jan Hasenfuss was playing the leadrole of Peter Hagendorf. In 2020 he was playing the leadrole Eugen Spanck in the ARD series EUGEN SPANCK. His first work as a director was the comedy series EINFACH MARIA. In 2022 Jan Hasenfuss became part of the new ARD Degeto Prime Time Series FEUERWEHRFRAUEN.
