What the...

Seriously... what the hell was this? I have this movie from a magazine's DVD, and I wasn't really emotionally ready for 6 years to watch it, but now, by a sudden idea, I sat down and did put it in. It was a huge mistake...

... first of all, I don't really understand why did they drop Marco Polo, the legendary sailman into this story. The whole thing has NOTHING to do with his journeys, and there is actually no link between any fables about Polo's life. Okay, I see, they'd like to do something original, but how is that when the movie is just a re-cut of an other cartoon from the early '70's? I don't know....

After I've put myself through the bad story and voice acting (okay, the second might be the problem of the Hungarian dub, but I'm not sure), I had to realise, how ugly are the drawings are. There were some good parts, but those were from the original cartoon, so the new stuff was complete garbidge. And the script... is just bad. VERY bad! I could continue it all day, but I won't. It makes no sense. This is a bad cartoon, and if you have a soul, you're not gonna let your children watch this sh*t.

What was that???

Warning: Spoilers
I like horror movies and when I heard about this movie first I was very excited. A film without an original killer but with a flash-eater virus!? Jeeez, that's sounds crazy! The idea is quite original and might be the base of an extremely powerful movie. But in the real life, it all goes wrong...

... for the first, the plot is just stupid. The first murder in the story (the homeless guy's burning) doesn't even make any sense. Why do they kill that? But the most ridiculous part is still the end. The villagers are starting a manhunt against the ill ones, and kill them with no reason. Why don't they just call help? Like the ambulance or something? Senseless, again. And if we are here, then I must reply on the characters too. They are so unsympathetic that I've never seen before. There was no one who I could like or sorry in the whole movie! Why is it like that? The creators wanted to show us the today's youth's sins, or what? And why are so much nudity scenes? Oh God... this is just bad.

I mentioned the ending before, but the real last scene was just ruins more. They wanted to ride the X-files "open ended" style but it just doesn't work as well. It only makes the movie more worse...

I don't even know why I gave 2 points... Perhaps because the camera handing is not so bad...

The best of the best...

As a Bud Spencer/Terence Hill fan, I always loved to watch these two guys giving a punch for all the bad guys (whose were almost all the same in each movie :)), but this film was the best of their works. All the jokes, the funny characters and scenes (especially the closing sentence) are classic!

The acting is not so strong but in these films it's not really important at all. Spencer and Hill bring their own style, playing each other and tricking, gaging all the time. My only complain is the poor English dub. The Hungarian version is much more witty. Too bad for that.

But don't worry, it's not a big loss. If You like to laugh, but don't care about realism and just want to chill out with a can of beer, this is the movie you must see!
