Horizon: An American Saga - Chapter 1 (2024)
Ignore low ratings
The movie was great I don't know what people are talking about but I will say that the box office bomb and subpar reviews only solidify what I know of millions of people today, they suffer from TikTok brain whereas they cannot focus on anything longer than a few minutes probably resisting the urge to swipe to the next video. This film is well executed and goes into several characters which I'm sure will get more in depth in the next films since this is a TRILOGY. The scenery is beautiful, the costumes and dialogue are great and the musical score fits perfectly. Costner is amazing and I'm sure he's disappointed that so many viewers lack the attention span for a 3hr movie yet they'll watch remakes with an overuse of CGI ...eye roll...
Poor Things (2023)
Weird
I get that some people like these type of quirky movies but 20mins in I was bored and uninterested. I gave it a chance and kept watching despite wanting to press Stop and immediately remove it from my Continue Watching queue. This requirement that the review has to be six hundred characters is ridiculous....this movie is such a train wreck six hundred characters are not needed to tell you that if you're not the quirky type, you're not going to enjoy this dull, long, shallow movie. Emma Stones character is shall we say "slow" and possibly on the spectrum so the guys plowing her gave big time creeper vibes.
The Big Bang Theory (2007)
All the neg reviews
The show is funny throughout and the people leaving negative comments probably are on the spectrum. It's as if some of these reviewer's or expecting nonstop Stephen Hawking level intellect. If you have friends and are normal, you will enjoy the show.
Texas Chainsaw Massacre (2022)
disappointing
The characters are so painfully stupid this movie had me rooting for leatherface. I was thinking about the Geico commercial where they parody scary moves.
The Undoing (2020)
Binge worthy
I don't know who the people are saying that it was a waste of six hours but those people are clearly the type that are entertained with social media and cheap reality TV don't listen to them. This was a good miniseries worth watching and as in real life when something tragic happens we speculate which is normal and try to pin it on multiple people who could have committed it and that is what this series does
Trapped: The Alex Cooper Story (2019)
Religion ist das opium des volkes
Highly recommended for any parent who struggles with their LGBTQ child. May it open their eyes to the inhumane treatment too often experienced by many children of indoctrinated parents. This movie captures a lot of real life scenarios children who have been abused by religious teachings deal with
