(Sorry for misspellings, english isn't my native language) Celine looked like a totaly different person. She was only looking for conlflict, without having any real problem. She also looked as if she was created by man, who hates women and who gave her all the bad qualities without any reason for them being there. I could not emphasize with her one bit. I also felt bad for Jesse, because he was practically a perfect husband and he did everything: he apologised, he tried to cheer her up, he tried to seduce her, he gave her compliments, he took action and tried to make peace. Basically he showed us, that he could do so much better and she doesn't desserve him one bit. In the first movie they both were equals and I loved it. Here, instead of maturing, Celine degraded. Jesse stayed more or less the same as in the second film. Also, what I loved about the first two movies overall, was that characters mostly just talked, without any obvous conflict. Or in other words, they only conlficted with their circumstances. So the plot was just one flowing dialogue and I loved it, it was simple and realistic in it's own sence. Here, on the other hand, they conflicted with each other, but the conflict wasn't written well, I still don't know what they were arguing about and what was behind all this. Because nothing was. They just wanted to scream at each other, I suppose. Especially Celine. I wish I could unwach this, because of all the negative energy it has vometed on me. If you still haven't, don't. I'm saving you time and feelings.
I'm from Lithuania, so this just to be one of my favorite childhood movies. Of course, I'm not a Soviet Union fan, but the movie always was something very magical for me. Mostly because I emphasized with the princess (my childhood was all about princesses) a lot. Now I watched it again and I feel surprised by their acting and visual effects (for that time and place). But the biggest impression for me was princesses costumes. I mean, I have never seen a better dressed princess in my life! This movie might seem like a dream (in a funny way), but I recommend to watch it at least for costumes. They are unforgettable.
It was beautiful and subtle. It was like a poem. I felt so fragile when I finished the movie. Enchanting.
