After this movie, I believe that humans have truly lost their intelligence, and apes (in all probability) have started to get smarter. :) Lately they've started making too many horribly boring movies. It's a shame that the special effects have advanced so much and the scripts hit rock bottom. I could barely make it through this movie. How could they stretch this banal story into over 2 hours. I was expecting a lot of entertainment and real sci-fi, but what I got was just talking animals. This movie is very far from science fiction - it is suitable for children's channels where animals talk. Pity.

Whoever wrote the lines for this show deserves to live 533 days less in this world - I want to take a day off their life for every minute of season 1 they tortured my brain with. Hollywood writers hit rock bottom a long time ago and I thought there was nowhere for them to go lower, but this show proves otherwise. I would describe every single adaptation issue, but they just don't deserve it. Too bad about the sets, special effects, costumes and beautiful actors - I hope this series does not ruin their careers. I like the story and will read the book next, but this series cut my life short. I'm reading other reviews that the second season is even dumber and that's why I won't start it at all - I'll save millions of brain cells.

I lost two precious hours of my life that will never be returned to me. Worst entertainment ever. Shame about the money spent on this movie, sets, costumes and special effects. The plot is incredibly stupid and underdeveloped, and the lines seem like they were written for 5 year olds. With each dialogue, my dumb meter overflowed more and more. Zack Snyder really needs to stop making any more movies or someone will be found to take that right away from him. I haven't seen more stupidity in 20 years. And the Irish accent is so so inappropriate for this type of movie I'm speechless. Too bad for the actors - it will ruin their careers. I will never be able to look seriously at them again.
