Alone (2020)
I thought it was pretty good. Solid 5 Stars IMO
I watch a lot of movies, and I do like survival type movies and thought this was pretty good, I liked how it was a little bit different then most zombie movies and actually seemed kind of realistic (compared to most zombie movies/shows ha).
It's not perfect, and a tad slow at times but not too bad, and I think they did a pretty good job with the story and also budget they had, (which I assume was pretty low).
I think people are just brain washed by "blockbuster" movies (which most suck btw) and they can't see the good in movies like this.
Also, what is with the 1,000 reviews saying this is a remake etc.? Who cares lol. I wouldn't want to watch a movie with language I can't understand and read subtitles the whole movie, I don't care how good it is. Not to mention we are review this, not comparing it.
Anyways, I'd say this is a 5 out of 10. Not great but not bad at all no, right in the middle, and it does offer something a little different. And this is MUCH better then a lot of movies I have seen lately in this genre.

Horrible Attempt at Comedy Horror. REAL Comedy Horror Suggestions Included Below
I Love Comedy Horror and I like fun mindless movies to watch once and awhile when you don't want to think too much, as some can be really funny!! But this one is not, it's just the mindless part without the fun or humor. (I'm basically saying it's sucks lol!)
I can judge a movie pretty easily by simply re-watchability and this one I would never watch again. This is one of those where I had to kind of force myself to get to the end.
I think the only time I laughed was once during a son/parent talk. The rest of it just seemed like a bunch of random stuff edited together, and boring dialogue.
Also the A-list actors are pretty much just cameos if you you were thinking of watching this just b/c of that, which I didn't, but figure that's worth mentioning too.
Maybe teens would like this, idk. But there are much better movies out there.
If you want to see a REAL Comedy Horror that's actually good and actually funny, watch - The Baby Sitter: Killer Queen (2020) - Now THAT is a good movie and super funny!! I recommend that 100%.
After that one, if you want another suggestion, Dance of the Dead (2008) - that was pretty good. Heck even - Scouts Guide to the Zombie Apocalypse (2015) - was a 10 compared to this garbage. That was ok too.
Anyways, Trust me, I would not recommend watching this, even if it's free haha. Not kidding.

Epic Sequel! And if you Love Comedy Horror you will Love this! Trust me
I just finished watching it, and I was blown away! Now THIS is what you call Comedy Horror and how it should be done. Super funny and excellent kills/deaths haha.
I didn't even know they made a sequel until a few days ago, and I wasn't sure what to expect, I liked the first one, so I figured this would be good too, so I didn't read any reviews or watch the trailer first purposely.
And again just finished it and wow that was awesome! This is one the best sequels AND movies ever made in my opinion. I was laughing almost the entire movie, I'm not even kidding haha!
I have no Idea how this doesn't have a higher rating on here, but then again yes I do, I never trust ratings on here they are always wrong. I just watched a different "comedy horror" movie yesterday (that I will not name), had a similar rating to this but it just SUUCCCKKKEEDD lol.
I think this movie at minimum should be an 8 on here, but in my personal opinion it's a 10 as it's perfect (and I never put 10's). That's how much I liked this, and DEFINITELY going in my favorite movie collection.
And Like I said, if you Love Comedy Horror, you will Love this! Trust me :)
The Darkroom (2006)
Not bad, a little different
I actually kind of liked this, not epic but I liked it b/c its a little different. And yeah it's low budget of course, but that's ok. I found this b/c of Greg Grunberg after I watched Big Spider, I thought that movie was pretty funny actually (purposely stupid haha) so I figured I'd see what else he did. It is odd seeing him act in a different range though. Also of course Lucy Lawless, she's beautiful obviously, and great actress, I didn't even recognize her right away surprisingly b/c she normally has different hair. Well I just watched Ash vs Evil Dead and she is older in there too.
Anyways, for what this is, it's not bad. A little slow, and a little weird, but it makes sense later. Again the actors did a great job in my opinion. We even get to see the Jump to Conclusions guy briefly from Office Space haha.
I'd say check it out if you are bored and have nothing else to watch, you might like it. And like others have said, it's not a horror movie really, no. I did watch it twice in a row, so that must mean something. I kinda skipped through it right away (b/c of some of the bad reviews on here), so I watched it fully the second time to see what I missed. I'd say 5 or 6 out of 10 seems fair. Not excellent, but you gotta give them a little credit. That's just my opinion.
Helix (2014)
Second season is Better
Like most people say, this isn't that great. It's seems it should be! But it gets old fast, and kinda boring after about half way through. That being said the second season is much better but still kind of the same, starts off really awesome but idk starts going downhill. Still much better then the first IMO. I'd still say it's a good show to watch if bored but I doubt I'll watch it again.
