Ms. Marvel (2022)
The MCU's Best Origin Since Iron Man 1
The characte building, the emotions, and the the payoff haven't been this good in years. Iman Vellani and crew have me more excited about the MCU than my most anticipated titles from the past two years. Don't listen to the haters, this show is the real deal.
Ms. Marvel: Time and Again (2022)
Everyone is still harsher on this series than on the other MCU series
This was the weakest episode thus far, and it still outpaced most other Disney+ MCU shows on dialogue, pacing, and character development. If you loved MCU Spider-Man, but can't stand this, I believe there is a galring reason why this is the case.
Hamilton (2020)
Almost perfect.
Nearly flawless execution. Incredible performance, beautiful camera work, the quality of the material speaks for itself.
However, D+ lost a star for censorship, which is just a shame any time it happens to art. If they weren't comfortable with the language of the performance, they should have put it up on Hulu.
All that said, it's still a majorly incredible performance. Would recommend to literally anyone.
Mike Birbiglia: The New One (2019)
Mike Birbiglia murders it again
This routine is both a hilarious take on the fear related to transition to a new chapter and an absolute must see for a new parent. I laughed, cried, and reflected. That is so much more than I've ever been able to say about amy comedy routine.
