Bugday (2017)
Waste of time
Tried to do a Sufi based movie but not able because i believe it looks ilke a good show for the eyes. The essence was not sensable. Looks ilke memorizing sentences from Sufi-Islamic literature with good camera.
Soguktu ve Yagmur Çiseliyordu (1990)
one of the Turkish films that deserves attention
i think it's one of the Turkish films that deserves attention. the camera is not quick trying to catch any glimpse of the actress..till she's one of the famous stars of Turkey; she's called "Sultan". it's story is quite similar to our everyday life. but here "our" belongs to the ones when their pattern of life is known by only themselves, they are the ones dealing with it, not the ones of daily routine life outside. thus, this is about the routine of emotions.
Her Sey Çok Güzel Olacak (1998)
comedy in the city istanbul..a high-lighting one!!
this movie especially among the youth have become something of the rule that should be watched over and over.. although i've done it only once i can understand the great desire for it till the young guy called Altan is a very popular comedian.. but, i must say that the other one is a well-known performer in turkey, and performed very well in the movie too.. if you want to see something about turkey rather than any political aspect or any middle-east smelling one, you should take a look at this comedy passing through urban life, sure this life has many "faults" , but if not, how could it be a real comedy?
Çiçek Abbas (1982)
laugh, if you find why those people have such an expression on their faces..
laugh, if you find why those people have such an expression on their faces.. i am not saying that this movie is great, but it is about a culture which no side of the city wants to accept.city is istanbul, and it's not full of good luck for everyone..
Yengeç Sepeti (1994)
it's about family and deep relations
it's about family and deep relations. but the family is turkish. belongs to modern times. it's moving slowly but you find yourself waiting for the end because it makes you wonder.
Dyadya Vanya (1970)
there,if you find an imitation of yourself it hurts..
the director makes it impossible not to be melancholic..one scene sonya says that forest and the climate together change the way that people behave.. how could she know that sorrow never changes? and justice is not for all in any climate? i want you to pay attention what happens after the woman comes and leaves.. not only the faces but the camera gives the feeling. i strongly recommend you to watch 2 times if you haven't done yet..
