I was eagerly waiting for this movie since I saw the trailer. It surely has a brilliant concept, although it's a remake of German cult Run Lola Run. But this movie is completely Indianized. A large section of people are hating it just because it stars Tapsee pannu. But look beyond all that and appreciate the art. It's technically brilliant, beautifully shot. Cinematography, art, production design, music is great. It does have it's flaws as well. People may find Time loop thrillers boring due to its repetitive nature of events in the movie, this movie suffers a bit there but that's compensated by the wackiness of the characters and the way their whole world is shown to us. Tapsee is great to watch, but Tahir Raj Bhasin steals the show. Also noteworthy to mention the characters of two brothers, they've done a great job. Even if it's a remake, it's still better as a genre concept. It's not a masterpiece, but it should be viewed as it is. Once you get sucked into the world of these characters, it's a great ride. This movie can be put with the likes of Kaalakandi, Delhi belly, Mard ko Dard nahi hota, etc. Hindi film industry needs to make such kind of movies more.
What a fitting tribute to late Captain Vikram Batra sir! Sidharth has given a memorable performance. Might as well be the best performance of his career till now. The movie steers away from the jingoism, doesn't romanticize the war, but more importantly gives the Brave soldier a tribute he deserves. The VFX doesn't disappoint either. I've seen a lot of negative reviews about the movie, don't fall for that. These type of movies should be celebrated so that the sacrifices of those unsung heroes don't go in vain. It's very cliche thing to say but imagine giving your life for your country, not even thinking for a split second. Takes a brave soul to do that.
Everything about this web series is just spot on. From dialogues to cinematography, production design, story casting. Everything is just perfect, and that's what makes it a treat to watch. Can't believe this came in 2012 and I'm watching it now. It's certainly not worth missing.
