Because of Paget Brewster and the Dean's storyline. I could NOT STOP rewinding and rewatching the monologue about the Dean, being an idiot. I LOVE Community, but this whole scene is one of my favorites. Paget's delivery of her monologue makes me absolutely bowl over in laughter. I thought she was a brilliant addition after Chevy, I honestly would've loved another season with her. She was my favorite late addition to the cast. ALSO, BILLY ZANE! This whole episode was honestly great. I don't understand how people could rate it so poorly because of the Britta story. That was an awesome throwback to a previous storyline. I miss Community so much!!! Thank you Dan Harmon.
This episode has been by far one of those off key emotionally great episodes. I think because I'm a softee for the Ents. This show is great ... and quite frankly people will scoff at anything that isn't "true to the writing" because people are just terrible with artistic license. NERDS. Any who, I'm a soft hearted person when it comes to ents both in the books and on screen, ugh! They break my heart. This episode was key in story but DID lack in delivery. I honestly, wanted the 3-episode arc of the Stranger's journey to culminate into something epic... they're doing that thing again where we draw out story points that do not need it. The hobbits got a great story piece, but for example we wasted the last episode on some socio political nonsense in Numenor. We know how it ends for that island... we really just want to focus on the rings story.
Plus we got Tom Bombadil! Awesome!! That whole thing is awesome especially in how we see the way The Stranger develops his way of speaking in riddles. Just a slow burn, that had MAJOR great moments and we really want those kinds of moments BUILT OUT. Not stuff about an island that won't really work into the main conflict. Could we just have Numenor end already. It's one of those off putting side stories that really do not add to the main plot. At first I was onboard with the Queen, and trying to understand the whole Isildur character.... but THOSE two stories specifically the Numenorian story is devolving into one that just LAGS.
Ents, Wizards, Elves, Dwarves, men, mystery, AND magic THATS WHAT WE WANT. Side note, how do you have entire generations looking forward to "the barrows" and what we get is three minutes with no real closure or excitement. Galadriel is a powerful character and yet...again, the writers are dropping the ball. The woman has swam the seas, climbed and fought for centuries... and keeps teetering on the precipice because of junk characters surrounding her. She went on a journey to avenge her brother for centuries, and that same woman just FALLS in line... suddenly? (Eye roll) she's is EPIC. Keep her as such.

You finally got us hooked and you decide to cancel!? We were finally getting somewhere. It took a couple of episodes to get me into it, but I loved the first season and the way the show evolved in the second season. What I don't care for... is a massive cliffhanger... and Apple pulling their billion dollar plug on a show when we got to a great point. Yes, perhaps ratings were bad at the live stream but by what metric? My generation has become a binging one! I waited for a seasonS (plural) of Game of Thrones before I jumped on that because I loathe the long breaks between seasons. Apple c'mon!!!!!! This show was finally getting good! I waited after the first couple of episodes to watch the the full seasons because I read it was renewed, now I binge it... I'm hooked and when I google "Big Door Season 3" I get ... "canceled".... Womp womp.
