I Care a Lot (2020)
Honestly mad I had to give this even 1 star
This movie started off with great potential. I actually had to pause it because my boyfriend was leaving for work and had it ready to be played when he got home because I wanted to see the ending. Biggest let down of my life. Sub par acting, pointless. I feel like they tried to make a comedy using every cliché you could use in a movie but then the actors doe some reason decided it should be read as a drama. Absolutely horrendous. Like come on Peter Dinklage is in how bad could it be but it's that bad. And don't get me started on the vaping. Probably the worst part of this movie, like way to make it trendy.
The Vast of Night (2019)
Slow
The movie is just slow. There is literally a 20 minute scene of them walking and talking. I did enjoy the acting, the set, the clothes. Was not the worst movie Iv ever seen but far from the best. It actually started getting good but then I had to pause the movie as my kid was yelling to loud for me to hear the dialogue. Not that I would have missed much this movie was 90% pointless dialogue. Well written and definitely gave the 50s vibe just pointless to the story. When I paused the movie though I realized there was less that 10 minutes left to the movie. So your telling me the last 10 minutes out of an hour and half movie was when it was finally going to get interesting. Far to little to late.
The Lie (2018)
A good movie
Had its twist and turns. Didn't see the ending coming. Plausible for as far as a movie goes. My kids liked it, they usually hate on the movies their dad picks. I would recommend it to other people.
Oddbods (2016)
My kid loves it
It's one of the only kid shows that can be on for hours and doesn't make me want to throw every tv we have out the window. So therefor it can get a 10/10 from me.
The Wolf of Snow Hollow (2020)
Cool concept bad acting
This comes off as a take on the scream movies. Horror yet comedic moments. Love the way it was edited, very new, very artsy. The music didn't match the movie at times and went on for way to long. The main actor couldn't act, sounded like he was reading from a script the whole time. Sad to see from someone with so many accreditation. The way he acted and the music I expected this movie to have a rating in the high 5s, if they would have fixed those two issues I could have seen this in the high 6s. Personally I wouldn't recommend this to anyone but if you happen to get stuck in a room with it playing it won't be the worst hours of your life, close but not the worst.
I'm Your Woman (2020)
Suspenseful
Was a slow suspenseful take on an action movie. Loved the action, believable characters, and the thought out plot line. Something you need to watch can't spoil it the fact I had to keep guessing every scene is what made me keep it on.
The Undoing (2020)
Just watch it
I can't put into words how much I enjoyed this show. I don't want to say any spoilers I just want to advise everyone to watch this for themselves.
Ted Lasso (2020)
Refreshing
Honestly a genuine comedy. No over top characters or cheap jokes. This show probably made me cry as many times as it made me laugh. My boyfriend is a huge soccer (futbol) fan probably why he picked the show and he loved that they used actual team names and jerseys. I'm not a sports person and I could follow the show just fine. Absolutely recommend this show.
Hamilton (2020)
Just great
Wish I could see this live. Absolutely amazing job by everyone.
