Minnal Murali (2021)
Another wonderful ode to the Superhero genre!
Indeed another superhero to conquer the hearts of Indian and World movie audiences.
Bail Joseph scores a decent hattrick after his earlier flicks Kunjiramayanam and Godha! Despite being released in Netflix , the simplicty and the wonder captivated with the masses.
Tovino Thomas playing a lovable goof being a superhero is a cute pleasure to enjoy. However, the antagonist's tragedy by Guru Somansundaram stole the limelight. 2 parallel stories of the opposites are neatly exhibited and enhaced the excellence of the film. Being set in 1990s make a beautiful deja-vu to old village life.
Femima George, Shelly Kishore, Baiju Santhosh, Aju Varghese, Rajesh Madhavan and the gang of decent supporting cast carried the film on their shoulders.
Watch out for the stellar performance of Vasisht Umesh as both the mentor and the nephew of the protoganist.
Special shout out to the songs from Shaan Rehman and Sushin Shyam . Costume department and the editing deserves a noble mention.
Despite many hurdles it faced during production , the movie proved to be another testament of sucess.

Started from small snippets of the daily life of a South Indian immigrant and his family! Soon the small clips portray each episode with a dose of pure non-offensive humor! Shot in the Malayalam language add to its humble recreation of the daily life in America in 2008-10! Even without the melodrama touch, the series was well recieved into the hearts of every Malayalee both in Kerala and around the world.
The trails of a middle class husband becoming an insurance agent , the hectic schedule of a nurse housewife , the upbringing of the children , the antics of the family and their friends and festivities of American Malayalee Commnity along the changes of politcal landscapes add flavors of excellence to the sitcom. Lovable screenplay , decent characters , nice pace and many factors enhance the status of classic heartwarming entertainer!
Enjoy this HUMBLE YET GLORIOUS MAGNUM OPUS for a heavy dose of nostalgia!

A Decent Comedy Revenge Thriller... HORROR IS MISLEADING
Same old concept is presented in a clever way.A mentalist aids the owners of a hotel resort to find the causes of a haunting spirit that could damage their business. Jayasurya in the lead role proved to be cool veteran as a clever mentalist who helps the police to solve diificult unsolved cases. The other leading roles as the hotel owners proved to showcase the emotions from fun to fear . Dharmaan lights up the comedy barrage as he excels in asking dumb questions. The suppoting cast and cameos and the technical department made a good help to be a watchable affair.The Screenplay has a combination of a decent and adult humor filled with a daze of supernatural thrillers and tragedies from real life.

Oru Adaar Love (2019)
A sad misfire from Omar Lulu...AVOID IT if you want to live
Controversies and dual climaxes sink a movie that could have a hattrick of hit from Omar Lulu.
Changing the role of a side character to a main lead due to Internet popularity dooms the originality of the script ,Even though , the main leads and friends shine in their debut along with lovables cameos , the screenplay was laced mysogyny in humour. Horrible direction that torment the viewers in the original climax caused outrage against the creators. Could have stuck to a happy ending in the final cut. Glad that they have changed it within the week of release. Yet, the damage is done to degrade a movie that could have a been another heartwarming coming-of-age film.
Overall, I wish the director the good luck in his upcoming projects.
P.S. The new climax is better for the tone of film .Lose your mental health if you prefer the orignal one!
Vellimoonga (2014)
A True Heartwarming Political Satire
Another example of Small films shine big with neat humour & strong screenplay.
A laugh riot that warms your heart about the trials of an unlucky middle-aged politician overcoming his fears and obstacleson his path of Love and Political Career. The Lead role did add another wonderful memorable gem in his career with conviction and excellence. The political atmosphere is represented in a hearty manner in exposing the hierarchy . Yet the film truely comes clean to entertain with strong supporting roles by veteran cine artists.
From the idyllic village life to the urban vistas of Thriruvananthapuram & New Delhi , sweet melodious songs from Bijibal and many factor seal THE SIMPLE YET EPIC excellence of a BLOCKBUSTER!
Definitely a MUST-SEE Comedy Entertainer!
