Selena + Chef (2020)
I would rate this a 10 if not for Raquel
I love this show but her friend is the most supremely annoying person i've ever seen on TV. I wish producers would catch on and stop featuring her. She's incredibly obnoxious and tries way too hard to be the center of attention. The show is perfect without her! There have been several episodes when the chefs are clearly annoyed by her, too.
I love how genuine Selena is and down to earth in her interactions with the chefs. It would be an incredible honor to cook with any of those chefs! It really does make you realize that ANYONE can be a cook or chef, you just need the proper tips, tools, and instructions.
Date with Love (2016)
Cute but abrupt ending
While I enjoyed the plot of the movie, it felt oddly rushed, and the ending was quite sudden without much clear closure as to where the characters' futures were heading.
The To Do List (2013)
Eh. Not sure what more I expected, I suppose.
While I fully expected a crass teen comedy, at times this just didn't feel genuine. It felt like it was trying to push the limits just for the sake of it. The ending was cute. And I always love Rachel Bilson in anything!
All Things Valentine (2016)
Predictable but cute and fun
While anyone could guess the entire plot within the first 5 minutes, there were a couple of twists and turns, and it was still fun to watch it unfold. I loved how Avery's hopeful and positive energy emanated to the people around her. I'm such a big believer in energies and this showed that example well.
A Princess for Christmas (2011)
Very cute and charming Christmas tale at a far away castle
I loved the storyline, and, being an aunt myself, really felt I could empathize with Jules. Every role was well acted and the cast had great chemistry.
Love on the Sidelines (2015)
bland and not well acted
I didn't feel the chemistry between ANY of the characters, either romantic or even the friendships. Parts of the plot didn't make much sense, and the male protagonist was entirely unlikeable and self absorbed.
Christmas in Paris (2019)
6.5 stars, but rounded up
I loved the plot, but it somehow felt rushed. The ending happened all at once, when in reality, it would have taken longer to get to those points, both with the engagement and his dad. I can get with a fast engagement if it's believable, but the chemistry just didn't sell it.
Pride, Prejudice, and Mistletoe (2018)
Cute but misleading title
Very cute Christmas movie, but it doesn't really have anything to do with Pride and Prejudice. The acting was good and chemistry between all characters was good as well. Darcy's life is almost TOO perfect!
A Gift of Miracles (2015)
Cute emotional story
I really enjoyed this one. The acting was good, but I do have to admit that the chemistry between the main two characters was not very believable. The plot was great and made me tear up several times.
Appetite for Love (2016)
Charming and feel-good
This was such a cute movie! Predictable, sure, but it played out perfectly. I loved the small town setting, it made me want to live there! The restaurant menu writing was also a fun concept.
Winter Love Story (2019)
Adorable movie, great for any book lover!
I loved this one! The chemistry between the two main stars was huge, and the story was completely relatable. I liked that there wasn't a terribly evil villain. Sometimes it's nice to be feel-good throughout!
SnowComing (2019)
Irresistable plot, but the acting could have been better
The story was charming, but I'm not a fan of Lindy Booth. She never truly has chemistry with people she works with. The dad I also felt was lackluster, and could have been much warmer.
The Town Christmas Forgot (2010)
watchable, but definitely low on the totem pole of Christmas movies
The acting was pretty bad on all accounts, but the storyline was sweet. I feel they could have done much more with the plot and expanded it a lot. The movie just kind of ENDED.
November Christmas (2010)
Cheesy but sweet
Very sweet story that just reinforces the beauty and magic of small towns and the love they give. The ending was a little TOO perfect, but it was good.
The Princess Switch: Switched Again (2020)
Cute but terrible acting
The setting and plot was cute and entertaining enough, but Vanessa Hudgens trying to bounce between 3 personalities and people was not successful. The acting was embarrassingly bad and cheesy at times. The climax also could have been much more exciting.
Mrs. Miracle (2009)
Charming and uplifting
Warm, witty and charming. I liked that the movie showed the difficulty of facing your past, despite how painful it might be.
Rome in Love (2019)
Very cute Hallmark movie
This was very warm and endearing from beginning to end. I liked that there wasn't a vicious villain to overcome as there sometimes are in other movies. The sightseeing around Rome was fun to watch as well.
Love on Safari (2018)
One of my favorite Hallmarks in a long time!
This movie completely transported me to South Africa along with it. The whole movie was literally my DREAM! Unfortunately, I don't have any relatives in foreign countries that own cool things to bequeath to me (that I know of). My only gripe is that I wish Keira had had her special moment with Kimba. I kept waiting for that to happen because of her childhood memory but it never did.
The Lodge (2019)
Decently creepy and not as predictable as I expected
There were definitely some twists and turns and a definitely uneasiness and creep factor. It was hard to guess the intentions of each character, and what might be in their imaginations.
Host (2020)
Surprisingly creepy and well done
For a quick, put together horror movie, scamdemic style, it had many creepy moments and was fairly well done. Worth a watch.
I must say, taking the time while potentially about to die to put on a mask was ridiculous. She didn't even have it covering her nose. And not hugging your friend after what they'd gone through was stupid as well. Making sure those parts were put in felt like propaganda.
Vaxxed II: The People's Truth (2019)
Everyone needs to watch this!
A heartbreaking look at vaccine injuries and how they affect families. The dangers of vaccines truly can not be disputed, despite being hidden and candy coated for years. For the sake of your kids or the kids in your family, educating yourself is worth it!
Stranded in Paradise (2014)
Cute dream of a movie
Oh if only we all could just leave our jobs and go to an island. It sounds great and was fun to watch! It simply just isn't that easy.
Looking for Mr. Right (2014)
Cute, cheesy little movie
This was okayish. I thought the main character was charming but she definitely was trying too hard. I don't know why she didn't just tell all to her friend and at least let him act at first from the beginning!
Mom's Day Away (2014)
Okayish hallmark movie
For me, this movie is the epitome of why not to have kids. Everything she experienced is what i do NOT want to happen to me. It was a cute, heartwarming movie, but unlike her bestie, it certainly did not make me want her life.
Lucky in Love (2014)
Supercute and fun Hallmark movie!
I really enjoyed this one. Who doesn't dream of a perfect career, great apartment, and the perfect best friend? The ending was even better than I expected.
