The White Lotus: Bull Elephants (2022)
Best episode so far
All the character background and slow burn in the earlier two episodes certainly paid off in this episode. What a great episode full of surprises! The acting was fantastic, especially from Theo James who is really proving his mettle once again after The Time Traveler's Wife. The interaction between Harper and Daphne showed them both in different lights and both were pitch perfect. The story of the two couples is easily my favourite. The introduction of the two new characters would be interesting in the next episode. Mike White is a genius, his dialogues are the best and this is the best show on TV right now.
Saturday Kitchen (2001)
Staple for Saturday morning
Matt Tebbutt is a great host, I love the banter among the guests and the chefs and of course the recipes from all the celebrity chefs. It provides a perfect start to the weekend and great for all the family to enjoy. The kids can learn about food and recipes as well. The new segments are also great, along with the new specials they've started to do for other religious festivals. I didn't think the programme will survive when James Martin left but Matt Tebbutt has actually turned out to be better, he is funny and charismatic and provides the perfect platform for the guests to interact. There are always new recipes with seasonal ingredients and new ideas.
Mr. Malcolm's List (2022)
Perfectly executed movie
Sure the story is nothing new but the direction and the acting from the ensemble cast is perfect. Most of the negative reviews on this site seem to be from people having an objection with POCs being the main lead! How dare they not have at least one white person in the main couple? Well-done to all those behind this film, this is how Persuasion should've been adapted!
The Time Traveler's Wife: Episode #1.6 (2022)
Great finale
It was the perfect finale, with enough glimpses into the future and ending with the wedding. So even if it doesn't get a second season (which I really hope it does), it still feels like a complete series. Well-done to the team, what a refreshing change this series was.
Here We Go (2020)
Under-rated
Perfect mix between Outnumbered and Not going out with so many laugh out loud moments. Everyone in the ensemble cast is fantastic. Hope there's more to come!
Derry Girls (2018)
End of an era
Brilliant comedy, one of a kind and not afraid to tackle tough issues. The ensemble cast works seamlessly together. It'll be missed greatly but better to go out on a high!
The Time Traveler's Wife (2022)
Surprisingly great!
I was a bit apprehensive after reading the reviews but was blown away. As a lover of the book, I think it gets the humour and the edginess just right. It shows that the author of the book is involved.
I love that they clash from the start and it's not all plain sailing. It isn't a romantic comedy that many of the critics seemed to expect!
Rose portrays the fieriness and doubts perfectly and Theo balances the humour and the fear so well, the contrast between the older and the younger Henry is visible even in the body language. Moffat's dialogues are so good. The chemistry and the banter is spot on.
The only thing I didn't like was Henry's oldest make-up and that I have to wait another week for another episode!
D.I. Ray (2022)
Nod to subtle racism
You can see some twists coming but I loved the portrayal of subtle racism that POCs face in everyday life, the scene at the restaurant where the waitress just assumes which two people are part of the couple was wonderful. Bring on season 2!
The Thief, His Wife and the Canoe (2022)
Enjoyable
It's a fascinating story very well-told. The performances were fantastic, you can feel the manipulation and the disbelief. ITV doing what it does best!
Bridgerton (2020)
Season 2 is so much better
They nailed the chemistry and the slow burn. I enjoyed season 2 so much more. Great performances from Simone and Jonathan. I didn't read the book so the changes didn't bother me.
Starstruck (2021)
Great rom-com
This is that a rom-com like Notting hill would be if made now! Refreshing, quirky and great chemistry between the leads. Season 2 lived upto season 1, hope there's season 3!

Deserves all the praise and more
Fantastic series with great character back stories, unexpected twists and of course great acting. Thank you Netflix for bringing back this gem and long may it continue!
Alex Rider (2020)
Great family viewing
Love the changes they made to the story and cast is great. A perfect series to sit down with the family to watch and dissect the differences with the book. Hope it gets the chance to adapt all the books.
Eternals (2021)
Quite enjoyable
Despite hearing mixed reviews, we decided to watch it and glad we did. It was a great action-packed watch, tad too long but understandable as they had to spend time setting up. The ensemble cast is a joy to watch, especially Gemma Chan and Salma Hayek.

Brilliant
I watched it after Don't Look Up and really enjoyed this much more. I'm surprised more people haven't watched it and it doesn't have a higher rating! That's how you do satire!

Cliché
I started to watch it due to all the hype and award nominations. This is a generous 4, I found it neither funny nor romantic! Season 2 seem to less well-received even my the fans!

Emotional journey
It was a great movie. Fantastic performance from Riz Ahmed as expected but the father-son bond was beautifully captured by the kids, especially the older one.
Manhunt (2019)
Crime drama at its best
It was brilliant even without any extra melodrama and big action sequences. It captured the essence of the horrific crimes and the investigation very well.

Great to see such a perfect period drama after a long time. Long may it continue! It doesn't put a foot wrong, the performances, the writing and the scenery..All stunning!
Vigil (2021)
Enjoyable gripping drama
Although the ending could've been better, it's still a very enjoyable Sunday night drama with excellent performances from the ensemble cast especially Suranne Jones and Rose Leslie.
