Sometimes you just need that cookie-cutter rom-com where the stuck in a rut business woman meets a really nice guy (who she has, of course, underestimated). This movie has all of it. Oh no! The deadline is in two weeks? Their date was nearly ruined by a precocious kid? There's a major obstacle to this perfect romance and they can't talk about it? Whatever will they do????

Damon Wayans Jr. and Rachael Leigh Cook are delightful in this movie and I found myself rooting for them every step of the way. Will it win an Oscar? Doubtful, but it's better than your average Hallmark movie and I enjoyed every minute of it.
