This is not a review of the film per se it is a review of some of the other reviewers. You have the usual one that mentions that the trees are green. Of course. As these films are usually made during Summer months you'd be hard pushed to disguise that fact so NO POINT in always pointing this out,
Now to explain my headline. A couple of the reviewers said that Angie the lead actresses friend was the Scrooge type character where in fact it was Teeanna. They could not have been following the film too closely to get that wrong. Too busy thinking up what they were going to nit pick about the film.
Of course the film is formulaic but it was a nice enough one to spend a couple of hours.
The two leads, the wee daughter, the friend, Santa and the villain all did a good job with what they were given.
The wee daughter is going to be a star in some way when she gets older. If not an actor but as a champion skater.

I gave this film only one star for the best actor on set...... The dog.
Main actress though cute was an absolute vile character. If Scrooge were a woman then she would be it.
The main actor had the personality of a plank and totally wrong for the love interest (did not watch the second half to find out if they got together).
Even the two kids in the movie though cute as well did not indeer me to it. It felt that they had been dragged off the street and looked a bit dazed..
Wonder how much money it took to make this movie because whatever the amount it was a total waste. Give it a wide berth and watch paint dry instead.

Only watched about less than ten minutes of this film before I turned it off. In fact the time I turned it off was at the exact time the two lead characters met for the first time. The lead actress is not the prettiest actress I've seen in a Christmas film. Beaten only once before by one other. The lead actor looked like he should have been in a horror film and not a Christmas "romcom" which is what this one was supposed to be,
It's an absolute shame that you cannot give a minus star rating on anything like this as this for me was an total put off. My rating would have to be a generous minus ten.
