Star Wars: Episode II - Attack of the Clones (2002)
Bring on the Clone War
Well I saw the opening night at Leicester Sq london where we got some preshow entertainment from Anthony Daniels the actor for C3P0, he was pretty funny and handled the raucous post pub midnight crowd admirably! He dealt with a line up of storm troopers the curtains parted and the crowd cheered loudly. Oh and Rick McCallum also came out and told us it was Fu****** awesome!
To the movie, what a fantastic movie (not comparing at all to the others) so much colour, visual candy, action, romance, new worlds, fantastic aliens as well as the introduction of characters we already know and love!
The thing is, people are complaining about the dialogue etc and comparing it to the ep 4,5,6 but the first time you ever saw those movies most of us were just kids, what did we know about fancy dialogue (not that hollywood really delivers anything but!) so to criticise plot, dialogue etc is a bit over the top. I just sat back and soaked every minute of a brilliant movie. I dont think I have ever been in a cinema where people were actually cheering so loud (Yoda scene, when Mace Windu makes a tough entrance) and at the end deservedly so a standing ovation! Great movie, great characters, simply the best movie i have ever seen.
Long live the star wars saga because it brings out the child in us and takes us away from the real world for a couple of action packed hours!!!
Great Stuff Lucas! Cant wait for the CLone War, I cant even begin to imagine the fight scenes in that baby!
Shao Lin da peng da shi (1980)
this movie is brilliant...
I agree with another user here and have to say that this is one of the best Kung Fu movies ever! I watched this as a kid and absolutely loved it! The scaffolding scenes are brilliant and you can really empathise with this guy because he is treated as an outcast. Nice humour and fantastic kung fu this movie rocks! If you like Kung Fu you would love this!!!
