This is really the most terribe movie I've ever seen! There is nothing compared to this unbelieveable piece of nonsense than the Propaganda movies of Mr. Goebbels from the Nazi regime! I couldn't believe that something like this wins an Academy Award! I'm a very liberal kind of guy but that so-called documentary should be banned or at least censored! Everybody who likes freedom and rights shouldn't watch that movie. Here in Germany even schools force innocent student to watch that propagandistic piece of intollerance. It really can't be true.

Very good film with a very very good playing Nael Marandin. Very nice pictures from an good reconstructed Montmatre of the 1930s. It's a co-production from France and Germany. If you like this movie, you also like: The land which king was a child.
