Ughhhhhhhh, what did I just watch? One of my favorite actresses, Taraji Henson, everything she is in is worth watching. Person of Interest would not have been the show it was without her. And the first film of this franchise with Mel Gibson was very good, so I thought this would be as well. Not to mention Tracy Morgan as a comic relief. The problem is it didn't have the emotional feel of the first film, and appeared way over acted. Especially Tracy, anytime Tracy was on screen he was trying to steal the scenes but ended up dull and overacting. Maybe the next one in the series should be a "what African Americans Want", or "What an LGBT Person Wants" . Please stop Hollywood, please bring back some creative writing, we all get it. I have to wonder how much money you lost on this direct to video film.
It's great with the Roku, I get to catch up on old series. Just Started watching SVU from the beginning. I have already seen a lot of these episodes on prime time and in reruns. Can you imagine any other actors other than Mariska or C Meloni playing the two leads? As a side note, check out C Meloni in Oz, another great series that was on HBO, and is now available streaming. Also, the cast of this show had Mayhem, who knew, Belzer, Ice T (so good) and a slew of others. Such great acting and writing in this series. I have to imagine all of these actors must have had great chemistry behind the camera, and must have all become friends. I can't imagine this show being as good as it was to last all of these years if these actors didn't all get along. Talk about typecasting. Highly recommended.
No longer funny or relevant. If SNL was introduced to us in its current format and comedy team it would likely be canceled. For the past 10 years, I have tried to watch this abomination, and turn it off. Especially all of the crappy political hack. Back in the day SNL made lighthearted fun of the government, whoever was in office at the time, and it was typically funny. Now it's just a hit piece. And I used to like Alec Baldwin, and thought of him as a great actor, but not so much any longer. And karma seems to be a real B as they say. So I don't know who your current audience is and if you're playing to the younger generation, I have the wonder wonder if they are even watching this show. Your demographic that you're playing too, would rather be on a cell phone watching TikTok. Only reason I gave a higher rating is because of the legacy. Please go away already!!!!!
