Young & Hungry (2014)
how did this last FIVE seasons?
It had all the necessary pieces to make it an immediate failure... a lod black hose cleaner... the parody gay "valet"... the sleazy chef... ignorable dialog
i accidentally watched two episodes on netflix because they were so short and the second episode started before i had a chance to go elsewhere... it is a shame sixth sense's sister had to make this. the producers probably thought they could play off name recognition
Designated Survivor: #makehistory (2019)
More like a PSA
Gratuitous and unnecessary gay sex which was not needed and added noting to the story line!
Zoe and the Astronaut (2018)
How did this get 8.2 out of 10?!
Was a good idea poorly executed. Horrible dialog. Poor sound recording. Sounded like everyone was clomping around half the time. The ending made no sense and brought about no satisfying conclusion.
The Orville: The Road Not Taken (2019)
Music
Great ep playing off the previous one, knew there had to be a reason for the j
Last one with out of time girl turning Ed down for second date. Lots of Star Wars music playing through this ep
Bless This Mess (2019)
Green Acres Wannabe
All the greatness of Green Acres without dialogue or humor!
Annihilation Earth (2009)
Don't bother... the ending doesn't justify the means of getting there
From the start, it was unbearable to watch Marina Sirtis try a southern accent. She was never a great actress, her only claim to fame being the annoying Betazoid on STNG. And her acting was painful there. I seem to remember her in another SciFi disaster flick and her acting there was only marginally better. I thought she'd ruin this movie. But she didn't, she only made the torture more unbearable. To this they added two panting, sweating, whiny-voiced porn stars in unnecessary roles. What in theory should have been a good plot line was ruined by crummy dialog, trite and tiresome clichés, and horrendous acting. This was a disastrous movie, even by SyFy "original" standards.
CSI: Crime Scene Investigation: The Unusual Suspect (2006)
Whodunit?
I saw this for the first time tonight. I have been watching Crime Scene, Las Vegas in reruns on the USA Network.
This was a very interesting episode. I was kept guessing throughout the entire show, as someone else pointed out.
**** Below there be a spoiler - beware if you have not seen this episode ******
However, the show cut out in the last 5 minutes, when they were interviewing both brother and sister at same time, yet separately. It got up the the point where the sister said she moved the body using the cart used by the grounds keepers.
I never got to see the end. I HAVE to know how it ended. Someone, please tell me who did the crime this time.
The Wicker Man (2006)
Nicholas Cage must have had a contractual obligation
I can only believe that some big-name actors and actresses have obligations that force them to be in absolutely horrible movies. This is the only reason I can think of that Mr. Cage agreed to do this movie.
Ellen Burstyn gave no life at all to her character.
Poor LeeLee, who was so excellent as Joan of Arc, being reduced to the insipid role she plays here.
And then all the no-name "talent" in all the other roles.
The dialogue was horrible ("step away from the bike"). Lines were delivered with no life at all to them. There were too many throw-away characters (Cage's cop buddies at the beginning, whose roles, I would assume, were to provide some kind of background for Cage's character).
It's not the worst movie I've ever seen, but it ranks right up there with the worst. Heck, The Lost Skeleton of Cadavra was 10 times better than this movie - at least you knew going in to the Skeleton movie that it was supposed to be bad!
