As an italian i saw this film on tv and years later i came across it on youtube. It features the talented burlesque-like comedian Franco Franchi who is known in appearing with his comedy buddy Ciccio Ingrassia in a number of cheap italian comedy films were their nearly parodied every possible film genre known to mankind until they decided to go different paths... This was then the result of Francos one man show.
Now lets get down to the flick. This movie makes a move on the eastern kung fu films popularized especially by Bruce Lee at the time ( Sadly it was released the same year when Bruce Lee died in 1973 ) Alone the cover is a parody of Bruce Lee's The Big Boss and so is the italian original title. A few elements are directly taken from the 70ts Kung Fu series starring David Carradine which came out one year before this. Franco plays somewhat of a Kung Fu grashopper student in a sort of Bruce Lee type of role who is trained by a master that tries to look oriental but clearly isn't ( he is a kung fu master who leads a Karate School full of Karatekas... Silly enough ?. Good it's parody.
The greatest flaws are again the dumb jokes some are funny for italians or sicilians and the fight choreography/scenes... Gosh. I highly doubt that anyone of the crew, actors or producers must had any knowledge about Martial Arts it's just ridiculous stupid even for a parody. Typical raw italian humor that tends to racism in caricature of asians where is no sign of difference between chinese and japanese culture. The story is also filled with every trope and clicheè to the already limited Kung Fu film storytelling.

This is an 80ts italian Comedy Made in Naples during the time of great Diego Maradona when he played in the towns soccer club SSC Naples. The story is focused on Nino ( Famous Italian Singer of the 80ts Nino D'angelo ) who is a big fan of the SSC and head of a small soccer club community. With the legendary Maradona the chances are quite good that the SSC is going to win the first Championship in their history, but until then Nino and his club Buddys are confronted with some unexpected problems around the game of soccer.
This film might have more bits of south italian humor so it's not for every italian considered. These are more flaw jokes and rarely work, but somehow like many low level comedys in Italy it managed to gain his cult followers. It's light hearted comedy and a love letter to Naples itself including the magic time of the SSC plus the italian passion for soccer. Suprisingly it deals partly with real life issues of soccer gaming that are still present nowadays in stadiums like violence caused by hooligans, selling drugs and fake tickets... it is shown in form of a lowlife gang as wrongdoer througout the film. Another good thing is the feel good soundtrack of "Napoli Napoli" what delivers nostalgic music for italian hearts of course a song from Nino D'angelo.
Entertaining in low quality, but i would say Nino's best film in the 80ts unlike the other garbage he caused during that Period. In that sense Forza Napoli :))*

Fantastic Classic Game. Came out in 94 from at this point a nearly unknown publisher firm called Blizzard. Yeahh the rest is history. We take on the role of Kyle Blackthorne, once a young prince from Tuul ( Sounds similar to the film and planet "Krull" ) a peacefull alien planet inhabited by humans which seemed to be based on medieval times it has even an old-fashioned castle. But the ambiente has a strangely very high technology with hologramm bridges, modern day shotguns, Bombs etc... The story starts off with main villain Sarlac who bears resemblance to Tim Curry's Lord of Darkness and Diablo itself, ordering to his goblin/orcs like subordinates a full attack on the Kingdom place where our hero lives. Overrun by night the king and his sorcerer adviser are in the possesion of a magical stone which can decide the fate of Tuul. In order to act fast and that the stone must not fall in evil hands, they send the young prince to earth to protect the stone with the prophecy he would come one day back to save Tuul.
Leaving his planet behind 20 years have passed... Kyle has grown becoming a highly decorated military captain and deadly mercenarie. Convicted for a crime he didn't commit he escaped a maximum security prison. With vengeance in mind, tormented by memories and dreams finally the day cames near were the old sorcerer adviser of his father will bring him back to save his planet from the pure evil, but not without before grabbing his iconic boomstick.
And the game Starts. Great Graphics for it's time. The gameplay is similar to Prince of persia just with shotgun and its similar linear. You are fighting cool looking Orcs from wow with shotguns which was released the same year. There are four stages were you do your quest for vengeance in your once beautiful world now becoming a hellish enslaved place of your own people which you can save by the way, in return they're helping you. Sarlac is watching you all the time and waiting for the epic biblical showdown with you...
Really a fantastic game. Maybe it is for free on playstore or was you should play it. I was just wondering why this game never got a remake or sequel. It has great potential.
