Completely ignore these negative reviews. My daughter and I went out to dinner and saw this movie on a cold winter Sunday night. From start to finish the movie was nonstop fun action. It's exactly what a popcorn flick is supposed to be, edge of your seat fun. Topher Grace added the right amount of humor while Mark Walberg played the crazy hitman. You can tell he had fun and embraced his role. Michelle Dockery, who I'm not too familiar with played her character as the Marshal intensely. You can see the emotions on her face. I'd say about 95% of the movie is on the plane. The beautiful view of Alaska is stunning.
You're not going to get Oscar worthy performances, but that's not the movie's or the actor's intent. Although, winning an Oscar lately doesn't mean an actor or movie was great. The intent here is to give the audience a good time. It really is the perfect middle of winter movie, lots of intense action with the right amount of humor. The movie doesn't waste time which is good for just about a 90 minute movie.
Go see it and enjoy.

Nothing is accurate in this movie. The insignias are all wrong, the uniforms are wrong, the drone is wrong, the location of CENTCOM is wrong, Russell Crowe is too fat and too old, the NCAA Men's Basketball game was all wrong. They went from being in the SEC Championship to the Elite Eight. No one would have ever used the phone in the break room for operations. Definitely wouldn't ignore the phone even in a break room. A Capt. (Russell Crowe) would never speak to a Col. That way. The list can go on forever.
The problem is the majority of the cast is Australian with a sprinkle of some Brits. Milo is the only American. The production team clearly didn't use an American military advisor. This movie is about American special forces and no one thought to use American military advisors. Being the majority of the cast is Australian, why not film an Australian military? Why did they choose to play Americans? And get it all wrong.
This is clearly lazy production, lazy writing, lazy execution. Netflix has the mentality of throwing whatever together without quality. At the same time Netflix will cancel shows that are a thousand times better.
